Sandra Tafulo is currently the HLA Laboratory Director in Porto Blood and Transplantation Center, Oporto, Portugal. Sandra completed Biochemistry degree in 1998, a MSc degree in Molecular genetics in 2006, MSc degree in Clinical Analysis in 2012, and her PhD degree in Biomedical Science from Oporto University in 2021. Sandra has been an active member of EFI, serving as an EFI Inspector since 2016, in EFI External Proficiency Testing from 2022-2023, in EFI Accreditation Committee since 2023 and in EFI Executive Committee since 2025, and ASHI being member of the ASHI International Committee since 2023 and ASHI board since 2025.
