Wanessa Trindade Clemente, MD, PhD, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). Transplant Infectious Diseases Program, Hospital das Clínicas UFMG/EBSERH. She currently serves as President of the TID section of The Transplantation Society (TTS) and as an advisory member of the National Transplant System (SNT), Ministry of Health of Brazil. Her research focuses on infectious complications in solid organ transplantation, quality and safety, travel medicine and hospital epidemiology.
