Kathryn is a consultant Nephrologist at Eastern health, Box Hill, Victoria. She completed a PhD (Melbourne Uni) which investigated Renal clinicians' perceptions of Kidney Supportive Care, Palliative Care and End of life care. Kathryn's career has developed as clinician/researcher with ongoing research activities and supervision in areas of treatment decision making, palliative care and kidney supportive care with the Eastern Clinical school, Monash University. Kathryn is the clinical lead of chronic kidney disease, and Kidney Supportive Care at Eastern Health. She is also the co-chair of the Australian and New Zealand Kidney Supportive Care special interest group and is a member of the International Society of Nephrology Kidney supportive care working group.
