I have participated in kidney transplant patient care as well as transplant immunologic research as a transplant nephrologist and immunologist.
My main research interests include roles of immunosuppressive cells and engineered cell therapy in transplantation.
I have performed basic & translational researches about ABO blood group-incompatible transplantation.
I have involved in Immune regulation in xenotransplantation.
I am the principal investigator of the Korean Organ Transplantation Registry (KOTRY) and have participated in kidney transplant cohort study with big data and multiomics.
