Ali Abbasi (US)

Ali B. Abbasi, MD MPhil MSci is a general surgery resident with the UCSF Department of Surgery. He is a co-founder of project donor, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping potential living organ donors lose weight to achieve eligibility for donation. He previously served as senior policy advisor to Commissioner Robert Califf MD at the US Food and Drug Administration. In this role, Dr. Abbasi worked to enable more streamlined clinical trials in the US health care system.
