Professor Katy Bell is a clinical epidemiologist and NHMRC Leadership Fellow in the University of Sydney’s School of Public Health. Her research aims to identify sustainable models of health care that benefit health and do not cause harm. She leads the MEL-SELF trial of patient-led surveillance in people with a history of early-stage melanoma, the Wiser Healthcare research collaboration, and the Health Systems theme of the Healthy Environments And Lives (HEAL) national network.
